  • American Association of University Women (AAUW)-Research Publication Grants in Engineering, Medicine, and Science – AAUW: Empowering Women Since 1881.The grant is open to women scholars conducting basic research in engineering, medicine, or the physical or biological sciences and who have a doctorate degree in one of those fields. 
  • L'Oréal USA (L'Oréal USA For Women in Science (loreal.com) )partners with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and created the program with the belief that women in science have the power to change the world. L'Oréal USA women in science awards five postdoctoral scientists with annual grants of $60,000 each.
  • The Leona Woods distinguished postdoctoral lectureship award is sponsored by the BNL physics department to celebrate the scientific accomplishments of outstanding female physicists, physicists from under-represented minority groups, Leona Woods Lectureship Award (bnl.gov)
